Kansas City Born & Built

Two cousins. Born a year apart. Raised on Royals baseball and Chiefs football. Both statistical anomalies who fell in love with data. Now they're putting that obsession to work for you.

Kansas City Royals Chiefs Kingdom

We grew up in Kansas City — the kind of city where you earn everything, celebrate loud, and show up for your people. We watched the Royals go from 29 years of heartbreak to a World Series title in 2015. We watched the Chiefs go from decades of playoff pain to back-to-back-to-back Super Bowls. If KC taught us anything, it's that data, patience, and relentless execution beat talent alone.

That's not a metaphor. Andrew (born '93) and Nick (born '92) are both genuinely obsessed with numbers. Andrew tracks every rep, every macro, every recovery metric — and builds programs from what the data says, not what sounds good. Nick builds distributed compute systems and AI infrastructure for a living. When they looked at the fitness industry together, the gap was obvious: nobody was treating client wellness with the same analytical rigor they bring to everything else.

NixFitness isn't a Silicon Valley startup guessing at health from a WeWork. It's two KC guys who grew up watching underdogs win with preparation, sharing what actually works — backed by certifications, built on real infrastructure, and delivered with the kind of straightforward honesty you'd expect from the Midwest.

Credentials

NASM CPT NASM CES TPI Level 1 TPI Fitness Level 2 DOD Master Fitness Trainer U.S. Army Paratrooper

Former Army paratrooper turned multi-certified fitness professional. Andrew doesn't theorize about fitness — he's lived it through military service, competitive training, and years of coaching clients across every discipline.

NixFitness started because Andrew was already doing this manually — snapping photos of his meals, tracking macros with AI, using Apple Watch data to close the loop. The results spoke for themselves. The question became: how do you give everyone access to this same workflow, 24/7, without them waiting for a human to respond?

His methodology is multi-discipline training driven from science, backed by results. Flexible dieting over rigid plans. Consistency over perfection. Data over guesswork — always.

"I was doing this every day for myself. Snapping food, tracking macros, using my watch data. We just made it so anyone can have the same experience — 24/7, without waiting for me."

Background

Systems Architecture AI Infrastructure IT Director Full-Stack Development

Nick builds systems that don't go down. By day, he runs IT infrastructure for a major enterprise. On his own time, he's built a 20-machine distributed compute fleet from the ground up — the kind of infrastructure that typically lives in a data center, running from a server rack at home.

When Andrew showed him the manual workflow — snapping food photos, pasting health data, tracking everything by hand — Nick saw the engineering problem immediately. The AI was smart enough. The methodology was proven. What was missing was the persistence, the proactive outreach, and the infrastructure to make it feel like a real coach instead of a chatbot with amnesia.

He built the platform that makes NixFitness possible: persistent memory that never forgets a client, proactive scheduling that reaches out without being asked, and isolated environments that keep every client's data private and secure.

"Andrew had the methodology and the proof. I had the infrastructure. The gap was obvious — the technology existed to make this feel human. We just had to wire it together."

Trainer-Led, Technology-Scaled

Most AI fitness products are built by tech companies guessing at health. NixFitness is the opposite — it's a certified professional's proven methodology, scaled by purpose-built technology so every client gets the same quality of coaching that Andrew delivers in person.

The AI doesn't replace the trainer. It multiplies him. Andrew's protocols, nutrition frameworks, and coaching instincts are embedded in every interaction. The technology handles the parts a human can't — remembering six months of meals, catching patterns across thousands of data points, and being available at 2am when willpower is low.

We're happy to be here. We're happy to share what we've built. And we're proud it came from Kansas City.
